We were extremely satisfied with the service we received from Derrick. He greeted us right away and asked what we were interested in looking at. We wanted a mini van and he led us right to two that we had chosen. He asked how we heard about the dealership. We told him we looked at your website. We fell in love with a 2007 blue Caravan after taking it for a drive. Darrick pulled up the website and we received that price. He even came down $300. I pointed out that screw was missing from the molding on the front seat and also that there was no manual. He told me that was no problem. The molding will be fixed and he would order the manual for me. We really felt that he was sincere and wanted us to go home happy.

Then we met Cesar. He was very accomodating and friendly. When we told him this was our third car that we had purchased this year from a Grossinger dealership, he lowered our interest rate and dropped our payment amount.

This was the friendliest and easiest anyone has ever made buying a car. We would definitely come back here again.

Loved this dealership and Tim was an awesome salesman!! Very friendly and not pushy, we had two young ones with and I was not stressed a bit! We enjoyed everyone for being so nice and getting us out so quickly!! The experience from start to finish was great and we already recommending them!

From the moment we entered the dealership Tim and his team made us feel confident that we were going to be able to work out a deal that will be fiancially sound to us. Between trading our car for top dollar, and working with us to get us the car we wanted and under a payment we can afford Tim lead the effort and was backed by his colleagues to get us into the vehicle we wanted.

What was most noticable was just how well he worked with the used car manager to get the value for the trade, how he worked with the other members to get us in and out fast. THe staff was knowledable, friendly and delivered what they promissed. What a concept?

I have driven by this dealership for over 12 years, and it now will be one I will utilize to service the vehicle I purchased, and will highly recomend it to all my friends and family.

Having purchased two new vehicles from Grossinger in less than a year, I am very pleased with the staff at Grossinger Palatine. I have purchased new Chevrolet's from various other local Dealers in the past that acted like they were doing me a favor.

The difference at Grossinger was I felt they worked hard for me with very agressive pricing and financing. In this economy, respectful, courteous treatment is a given, and while Scott Stafford(sales)is extremely pleasant to work with he has also been most accomodating after the sale as well.

Sometimes the most difficult part of the purchase is the financing details. Simply put, Ceaser Nino(business office)is awsome. You feel comfortable immediately as he walks you through the entire process, ready and willing to answer any questions to your satisfaction.

In my nearly forty years of vehicle purchases I have never felt better cared for
than with Grossinger Chevrolet in Palatine. I look forward to working with Scott and Ceaser in the future.

As a first time car buyer I was treated with utmost care and respect from the moment I stepped on Grossinger's lot. Not only were the employees extremely honest and friendly, they treated me as if I was one of their most valuable customers. Buying a new car should be exciting and Elmer and Casear made sure to keep it that way!! Phenomenal Experience!!! Recommend it to Anyone!!!

Derrick got us to a point where we knew that we wanted to buy the car but Mike got us to the point where we bought the car. When we were in the final process of buying the car we said we are not going to purchase tonight they allowed the process to stop which allowed us to make sure the deal was right for us and not a pressure buy. We went home to check the internet for more details and made our final decision that the car was right for us. They call first thing in the morning and asked if we wanted the car set aside which we did and told them we would be in by 3pm that day. The deal did not change from the night before, we requested one more item and they worked with us and we finalized the deal.

I'm not sure when the next time we will be purchasing a car, but I'm sure we will start with Grossinger

Our 2001 Chevy Tahoe was a total loss after the flooding of July 23rd. We had not shopped for cars in nine years and were not looking forward to it. Our experience was excellent at Grossinger Palatine. Our mechanic Scotty recommended Grossinger. We visited twice in one day and drove home that night in our new/used Escalade. Elmer Cameron described a wide range of vehicles for us on the phone and then Mike Momon showed us around when we came in. Mike Bott and Ceaser Nino helped to make the whole experience great.
We have told our friends and family about our really pleasant car buying experience. We never felt pressured by anyone and we were given a really fair price. We could not have hoped for a better experience!

WE loved our experience at your dealership. We came late(around 8 pm ), we did not leave until 11pm. Never did we feel rushed to buy. Tim was great. I was surprised that he went out on a second test drive with my husband. Your finance guy ( Fred?)was great too. He talked to us like we were friends and not just someone who wanted our money. We did not feel pressured. We will recommend you to friends looking for a car. Keep up the good work.

I feel Mr.Triplett did an awesome job. Having recently cleared for BK I didn't think I would be able to get a car. But after speaking with Derrick I felt there was hope. He answered my concerns and listened to what I felt I could afford, the amount I could put down and the car I dreamed of having. He came through. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE [FROM "JUST LOOKING" TO PURCHASING A CAR] WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISING!!! DARRICK WAS VERY HELPFUL[NOT "PUSHY" OR HIGH PRESSURE]EVEN THO WE TOLD HIM WE DIDN'T NEED TO BUY A CAR [WE HAD A CAR WHICH MET OUR NEEDS, AND THE ONLY REASON WE WERE LOOKING WAS BECAUSE WE HAD THOUGHT OF GIVING IT TO OUR SON] DARRICK [AND MIKE BOTT, SALES MGR] EXPLAINED THAT WE COULD TAKE ONE HOME TO TRY WITH NO OBLIGATION, WHICH INVOLVED VERY LITTLE FORMALITY FOR US AND SOME PREP-WORK FOR THEM. I went to Grossinger Chevy today to look for a car that could replace my 2 door Monte Carlo (also purchased from Grossinger) because I needed a car that was more practical for my 1 year old and my wife. Of course I wanted to keep my payments similar and basically swap out my 2 door for a 4 door. They guys at Grossinger were awesome. They are down to Earth and don't try to pull your leg. They don't do the bait and switch and keep things really realistic. They are a customer oriented business and offer very very fair prices. They know that if they make you happy you'll walk away and tell your friends. They aren't worried about making that 'extra buck' on your behalf and it really makes you feel good knowing they take care of their customers. I would recommend my closest friends and family to them in a heartbeat.

I was referred to Grossinger by a friend and I already knew the car that I wanted when I went in there, a 2010 Chevy Aveo. I was met by Mike and Leonard and they were so helpful and friendly. They never tried to change my mind and they made it quick and painless and an enjoyable experience. This was my first NEW car and I couldn't be happier. I will never go anywhere else and I would most definately recommend Grossinger, as well as Mike and Leonard, to anyone looking for a car. Thanks for all your help guys! I appreciate it!!

I dealt with Dino and he was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything he told me was done to my satisfaction. It was a great experience from a friendly car dealership.
I would use this dealership again, as needed. They followed up with additional information I had requested on the next day. This shows they care about their customers.

My car was totaled out in an accident which was hard for me to go through within itself but Darrick Triplett was patient with me in going through car after car until I was completely satisfied. I was looking to buy my wife a car and I live a few towns over from the dealership.
There is a Chevy dealership closer to me but my past experiences there were poor. So I decided to go to Grossinger in Palatine to give them a shot. My sales man Mike Momon was not only the nicest salesman I have ever dealt with, he also took better care of me than anyone I have ever dealt with anywhere! He got my exactly what I was looking for in the price range that was comfortable for me. I use to have a personal friend that sold cars and I really feel that Mike even took better care of me than my old friend did.

I would recommend Grossinger to anyone!!!!

Ken was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. He made me feel very comfortable. Usually, shopping for a new vehicle is horribly stressful. Ken and the other staff members made my experience actually enjoyable! I would definitely recommend Ken and the dealership. Actually, I have already passed on one of Ken's cards to someone who is interested in purchasing a new truck.

I just moved into the area and was in need of a new car because my 2004 Impala had over 199,000 miles. I tried to purchase a GM vehicle while I lived in Wisconsin but no avail. Every department @ this dealership went out their way to ensure that I drove away in a new 2010 Chevey Equinox.

From the sales person Leonard to the service man Tony and everyone in between was extremely helpful. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends, family, and Soldiers.

Tim was very patient with me and could not have been nicer. I really felt that I could talk to him. He even came in on his day off work so that I could look at the car again (and ended up buying it)! There were no smoke and mirrors with Tim. If you go to this dealer to buy a new or used car ASK FOR TIM!

My daily driver finally gave in and I needed a car in a hurry. Why rent when you can buy. These guys had me out the door faster than Enterprise. They got me in a great used car, for a very fair price, promptly.

Darrick was a great salesman, host. Even when I told Darrick, "Im sorry I wasted your time" he was still pleasant and continued to do his job. A matter of fact, he said,"Dont apologize, it's my job." Darrick negotiated with management and got me a great price.

Mitch was a class act and got me a very fair loan promptly. Dino answered my questions via email very promptly.

As of now, I can't complain. I'm very happy that I ended up at Grossinger-Palatine and even my new license plate was great with 007, at the end. Thanks guys, look forward to dealing with you again.

Great Dealership! I traded in my 2006 Equinox for a 2010 Equinox. Dino helped with the Internet service and Elmer is an awesome salesperson who really knows how to take care of customers. Everyone was very friendly and great team work all aroound. The service Dept. I've been going to for 4yrs+ and they also have been very helpful.Any issues I have/had were taken care of. I love my new truck and would recommend Elmer in sales. He does a good job making sure your happy and really knows the cars inside and out.

Our experience at Grossinger Chevrolet was very pleasant, we were met by
Darrick and we told him how much we wanted to spend and he did not try
to show us any cars over our budget, we appreciated that, we test drove
4 cars before finally deciding on a 2008 Pontiac G-6 which my wife is very
happy with.After Darrick answered all my questions and the paperwork was
finished it was over to financing where we met Cesar. Cesar worked to
secure us a very good rate that we are very happy with,every thing went
very smooth and my wife and I feel that we bought a great car at a great

I gave these ratings because I have been to plenty of dealers who treat you like your a nobody because you have mad some mistakes with your credit. But Leonard was absolutely wonderful, and I am definately going to recomend this dealer to everyone.

Ralph DiMatteo was very helpful recommending the used cars he thought might be of interest to my son after we described what he was looking for. Elmer Cameron followed up by finding the best fit with the criteria my son laid out and found him the perfect used car that was exactly what he wanted. Fred Kodroff had the difficult job of finding the right financing for my son so that the payments were within his budget. The condition of the car that my son chose was like-new, even though it was a two-year old car. It was clean and well maintained. We made a good choice with the help of Ralph and Elmer. Thank you.

My name is Nathan Kolessar and I just wanted to send a note to tell you that my wife had a great car buying experience with you guys. Our sales person , Bill Kay, was awesome. We are from SW Michigan and found a nice used Ford Flex, you had listed on Autotrader.com. I was apprehensive about buying a vehicle 2.5 hours away, but working with Bill made everything very easy. Once we got there he had the vehicle cleaned up and pulled into the service area for us to review, we appreciated it since we had our 3 kids and it was 10 degrees out. Sometimes buying a used car you don't get 1st class treatment, but our buying experience was 1st class all the way. Compliments to you dealership!!

Review:
I Bought a new 2007 Chevy HHR at Grossinger in December of 2006. The car was delivered on time at the advertised price without any sales trouble. All of the service has been performed in their service department without any problems.
I brought the car in on December 9th,2009 for a before it goes out of warranty checkup. A few minor problems were found and cheerfully repaired while I waited. The service manager, Brian Poteracki, was professional and prompt.
I purchase all of my new Chevys and parts from this dealership and have sent quite a few friends there for purchase of new and used vehicles hearing nothing but good back from them.
Gary Grossinger has always been accessible when I have been in the dealership. Keep up the good work!

Everything about this experience was at the top of the charts compared to past experiences. We've felt exhausted after past purchases, but this time around left us excited about what had just been accomplished. From the first contacts with Tom, who responded to our Internet inquiry in a personable and no-nonsense manner, we sensed that this was going to be a positive experience. Then we moved onto several hours of tireless legwork with Kirk, who couldn't have treated us any better if we were his best friends. As we looked over a number of cars in below freezing weather, Kirk remained so patient and informative. We felt he was genuinely as excited about us getting a new car as we were. Then the closing process with Fred to wrap up the paperwork, a low point of the process at other dealers, turned out to be as amicable and positive as we could ever have hoped for. All of these guys made it very enjoyable experience from start to finish, and gave us the feeling that they were looking out for our best interest. Even the guys who cleaned up the car, Elmer in sales, and Tony in service were friendly and fun to interact with. Pressure that we've experienced in past purchases at other dealers was non-existent. We loved the honest and up front approach throughout the process. If what we experienced is happening everyday at Grossinger Chevrolet, then the other dealers in the area are going to have to step it up to compete with these guys!

My daughter was born severly premature two years ago. Because of her prematurity, she was in the hospital for 196 days which racked up over 2 million dollars worth of medical bills. Unfortunately, I had no other choice than to file for bankruptcy in order to "start over." When I started looking for a new SUV, I had a feeling that I would be pushed away the moment I mentioned my situation. I was actually pushed away by a couple of dealerships (non-Chevrolet). I did my research on the Equinox and liked it very much. I emailed the dealership and received an instant response from Tom. Tom was incredibly helpful with making sure the Equinox was the car I wanted and the options I needed. I finally let Tom in on my financial hardship. Tom's first words were, "I want to get this done for you." Tom spent a great deal of time on the phone with the bank to secure financing for me after sending in my credit application. Next think I knew, he let me know I was approved. I went into the dealership that evening and met Leonard who took over where Tom left off. Leonard was so helpful in showing me the ins and outs of the Equinox (which I fell in love with). Next step was going to financing where Frank was super quick in getting my paperwork all ready, signed and sent me on my way. Everyone in the dealership is incredibly personable, nice people. I felt like my business was valuable to them and I wasn't "shunned" for my financial situation. I truly feel like I was given a second chance. Thanks to the dealership, not only do I have a brand new car, I have a loan that will help me to rebuild my credit. The Equinox is a perfect vehicle, not only for me but especially for my disabled daughter. I've officially become a lifelong customer of Chevrolet and will be an ongoing loyal customer to Grossinger.

I have given the dealership this rating because it was a pleasant experience from the moment I walked in. I came in wanting to see a particular vehicle but it had already been sold.Elmer and Mike asked me a few questions to determine my needs, then they asked me if I would consider a different vehicle or if I absolutely wanted the one I came in to look at. I loved that they gave me a choice and did not try to convince me that I wanted something else. They were not the stero-typed "Salesmen". I felt as if I was talking to a neighbor and they were genuinely interested in what I wanted and not what they wanted to sell me. I must add that Grossinger as a whole is more interested in customer service than anything else. I am very impressed with Elmer and Mike and the Grossinger Dealership. Even Gary Grossinger took the time to come out of his office to shake my hand. I have NEVER had that happen anywhere before. Grossinger is a dealership that I would definately go back to. They earned my trust yesterday. Some people might say that I had this pleasant experience yesterday because I was buying a vehicle and they were doing their job, but I want everyone to know that today I emailed Elmer and called him with a question. Not only did he respond to my email right away, but when I called him, I was NOT placed on hold and then told he'd have to call me back. I got him directly! This is what customer service is all about. Making the customer feel like they're the only customer in the world. Grossinger understands the customer service concept and so do the employees. I drove all the way from Glendale Heights to Palatine and I am certainly happy I did! I didn't have this experience with a dealership in my area at all...not even close.

I just want to say thank you so much for my new Chevy Tahoe. I brought my old truck in that qualified for the Cash for clunkers and could not believe the great deal Grossinger Chevy gave me. Wow!!! I came into Grossinger Chevy from Milwaukee and I was not disappointed. They are so friendly there. I've never had such a great experience buying a car until I bought from Grossinger Chevy in Palatine. Joe Olbi was such a big help. I was really impressed with Jim Douvas the manager who wasn't your typical manager type. I came in off the internet to buy a car. It was a nice and easy experience.

I was referred to Grossinger Chevrolet Palatine by a co-worker, they told me this is the place to buy a Chevrolet. I was a little hesitant cause of my past experiences buying a car, but boy was he right. I called the store and spoke to John Panos the sales manager who was really nice. I came in and was introduced to Elmer Cameron who was wonderful, he knew everything about the cobalt. The transaction was so smooth. Very nice to work with, our purchase was a pleasant experience. Derrick was very professional and thorough and efficient with our purchase. John Panos (Mgr) also was very accomodating and worked with us to make sure we were satisfied customers. Derrick Triplett and John Panos were a geat team and Chevy should be proud to have these 2 represent their Company. We have been Chevy customers in our family for over 40 years and will continue to purchase from Chevy as long as they keep employing poeple like these 2. The only down fall was the wait for the finance paperwork which took over an hour.

Dear Mr. Grossinger,
I wanted to write and tell you about our car buying experience at your dealership.

Friday Morning was the first time I ever drove an Equinox and by that same evening, we had purchased a car from you.

Your salesperson, Neil, played a major role in the purchase. He was professional, Present, funny & he certainly went the extra mile for us. Because the decision happened so quickly and it was the end of the month, we had to make the purchase and take the car off the lot that night, but I hadn't brought our clunker title with me (remember I was only looking until I fell in love with the car.) We were able to decide on the spot that we wanted the car. Remember, this was day 6 or 7 of the clunker program and your people and your people had had a very busy week, here is the amazing part.

It was late on Friday (9 or 10 P.M) and Neil followed us to Wheaton to pick up our car title - He drove all the way to our home. He did it with a great attitude, humor and fun!!

He is an amazing salesperson and I will tell everyone I know what an extraordinary experience working with Neil was.
